Research Experience

I've previously worked as a research assistant for CHIPTS at UCLA, the Zili Lab at UCLA, and the Li Lab at UCSF. I'm particularly interested in research in artificial intelligence and computational biology.

Here are a few projects I've worked on (hover for details). Projects with a golden border highlight have a published paper while those with a blue border highlight have papers that I had involvement in.

Analysis of the aging process in yeast cells associated with the cell cycle regulator WHI5 (tagged with GFP)

Analysis of proteomic and physical differences that may account for variation in lifespan between mammalian species

Analysis of motion opponency directional information in the MT cortex using support vector machines (SVMs)

Study of several decision-rule models that may explain human responses in a same-different experiment

Study of the motion aftereffect (MAE) and its consequences on visual discrimination sensitivity between directional stimuli

Development and deployment of an SMS chatbot that helps at-risk adolescents in Louisiana access PrEP
